It's a museum, and it rhymes with "Zuggenheim"... Give up? I went there with Terry and Patch to see a Matthew Barney exhibit which was "bizarre" and made me "not want to ever meet Mr. Barney." It was an installation that was also the set of a movie that was shot in the museum where the artist was acting as a large, perhaps Scottish, athlete who had to climb to the top of the museum, defeating obstacles such as a double amputee fashion model, a row of tapdancing women dressed as lambs, dueling mosh pits of angry punk rockers, and ultimately a man in black who was tossing super-heated Vasoline against a marble slab. It was hard to tell who won, but it wasn't the public. |
