Last Sunday, I went to Monique’s birthday party. The theme was awesome! I mean, it wasn’t “awesome” as a theme, the theme was James Bond, and that’s awesome. James Bond is also awesome. The people who came got all dressed up as James bond characters. I went as an evil mastermind.
I dropped by the Roundhouse last night to attend the Creative City Cabaret, a collection of performances by candidates in the upcoming Vancouver elections. My friends at Left Right Minds asked me to blog the event, and I was happy to help out and to see the potential city leaders in a non-political event that was to showcase some of their creativity and human side.

In the course of writing this I’ve watched all 13 episodes of House of Cards and who knows how many more West Wing episodes, and I’ve spent any number of blurred hours falling down internet rabbit holes. All instead of reading, or writing, or working, or spending real time with people I love.”
