The Culture of Generosity describes what I see as the loveliest manifestation of social interactions online. People are incredibly generous and selfless online, and that is what attracted me to the internet in the first place. It is full of web sites that people put up, discographies of their favorite bands, essays they’ve written, the syllabi of university classes, photos of themselves, their families, and real artwork. It’s amazing, and inexhaustible!”
