Apple's security updates are good: they list the programs updated in software update, and give you the details on their Web site. So why aren't Apple's apps (and us, the app users) given the same first-class treatment? Good job, TidBITS for speaking up on this.

Actually, he just asks questions about it. For my money, it's the switch to the Intel chip. With the same clock speed numbers and basic hardware stats (USB to USB, etc.) you're finally comparing Apples to, well, apples, so to speak.
